ECOWICE has initiated mushroom farming project to villages of Karatu district, the project aim to support the community in adapting toward climate change impacts. Through this project, the community is able to generate income and food.

Supporting DAGREVOWE
Training for Mushroom farming with Dakawa Green Voice Women Group(DAGREVOWE) at Dakawa, the area mushroomed by rice farms in Morogoro region. The group practice various conservation activities such as tree planting, beekeeping and now they want to practice mushroom farming to solve the problem of land degradation and forest clearing due to unsustainable rice farming.

Samia Suluhu discussed about different challenges facing the environment.
