Due to lack of income opportunities during off-farm season, farmers produce charcoal for generating income.
A sponsorship of $87 will transform a farmer from making charcoal to farm chicken. Through chicken farming, a farmer will be able to sell chicken and eggs that will help to generate income.
A sponsored farmer will have to surrender tools they use in hunting and charcoal production such as , snares, axes and firearms
